Servants of the Serpent’s Path
One of my personal favorites, Servants of the Serpent’s Path is among the Lovecraftian influenced HadesMachine story arcs. This track features drums by Ben Libay and vocals by Katie Schultz, current and long time members of live band line up.
Shirt design available in our store, and single available through numerous sources this week, foremost through Bandcamp here: https://hadesmachine.bandcamp.com/track/servants-of-the-serpents-path
My Black Angel
Fresh cover of the month, this time another Cancerslug favorite.
Schools Are Prisons
Another fun cover free for your perusal! Started this four years ago, didn’t like where it was headed, so I shelved it for a bit. Yesterday dusted it off and it came together in no time.
Original track off the illegitimate Sex Pistols album, “Pirates of Destiny”. Was performed originally by the Ex Pistols, an act put together by former producer Dave Goodman as a sound-alike, until he was sued into not being able to continue that sham. More info here…
No Beast So Fierce?
So the plan for a new single per month has been pushed back a wee bit, but for plenty good reasons. Meanwhile, here’s a fun cover of an old Turbonegro song I did a while back and was saving for a rainy day (though oddly enough, it’s sunny as I post this)

From the depths of the vault!
Happy Halloween! (I know, it’s tomorrow, but no reason not to start now)
Here’s another fun bit of HM history. In 2016 we jumped on the bill to open for Eva O, at El Corazon, Seattle. After we were committed to the show, we find out it’s an acoustic set. Hadn’t done that before, and with just over a month to prepare, we got down to retooling songs in a more creepy lounge vibe.
This was our last practice of four, before the show.

Blast from the past!
The other night I was perusing some old files here and came across a session we noodled out five years ago almost to the day. Did a little clean up on the mix and figured I’d share it with you. Live music is often an evolving, living thing, and this old snapshot of where we were then isn’t pretty, but it’s pretty fun.

New single, “Soulless” available now!
Getting ready to release the completely reworked Dead of Night EP. Before we hit the road in March for a short jaunt back up the coast, figured it was a good time to give you all a taste of the goodness. This song was originally written when Nick first joined HM. He started noodling out a riff, and by the next day we had a song in the works. Like any piece of music, it undergoes changes and develops. A staple of our live set, and a key part of the ongoing narrative, “Soulless” has taken on a dark life of its own. Hope you enjoy it even half as much as we enjoy playing it!
